The University of Ghana Legon 2024–2025 Law Admission Forms are currently accepting online applications. The application process for the University of Ghana Law is exclusively online, and candidates can pick up an e-voucher at the bank.

Applicants would need to pass an admission exam and attend an interview before being accepted.

Like all other undergraduate students, law students must apply online, but they must indicate that the University of Ghana law school is their primary choice. As an alternative, candidates might decide to enrol as straight freshmen and buy the University of Ghana Legon 2024/2025 Law Admission Forms.

How To Apply For University Of Ghana Post-First Degree Law

Applications are being accepted for admission to the University of Ghana School of Law’s Post-First Degree LL.B. programme for the 2024–2025 academic year. The Post First Degree LLB Programme is an undergraduate programme; applicants should be aware of this.

UG Legon Law Admission Qualification

A Second Class (Lower Division) Degree in any discipline from an accredited university (i.e., universities recognised and/or accredited by the National Accreditation Board of Ghana) is the minimum entry requirement.

Ghanaian Applicants

University of Ghana online application E-VOUCHERS can be obtained by Ghanaian applicants for GH¢220.00 at the following banks: Ecobank, Republic Bank, Agricultural Development Bank, GCB Bank, Zenith Bank, Universal Merchant Bank, Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG), Prudential Bank and Fidelity Bank.

International Applicants

International applicants should NOT buy the e-voucher. They should use the following link to access the online application form for completion and submission.

Online Application for International Undergraduate Applicants

All international applicants are expected to pay to the University a non-refundable application processing fee of US$110.00.

his fee can be paid directly or wire transferred into the University of Ghana ECOBANK Account.

Before submitting the application online, it is necessary to scan and upload the pay-in slips and the applicants’ certificates/result slips. The results slips and certificates should be scanned into a Word or PDF document and then attached to the application.

Note that no application will be processed without proof of payment of the fee.

We strongly advise you to carefully read and review this posting, together with all pertinent information and criteria for potential applicants, before beginning your application. Please make sure you properly follow all directions. Your filled-out application forms must be submitted online.

Applicants must in addition provide or submit the following required documents and/or materials DIRECTLY to the School of Law before the given application deadline, namely: –
i. Two (2) copies of ORIGINAL CERTIFICATE authenticated by institution awarding degree;
iii. Three (3) Academic Referee reports;
iv. Please provide, in your own handwriting, a candid evaluation of yourself as a person, discussing in order of importance to you the personal characteristics you feel are your strengths and those you feel are your weaknesses. The written self-evaluation must be signed by you with your usual signature;
v. Two (2) recent passport-sized (45mm x 35mm) colour photographs of yourself, with each bearing your full name as the same appears on all supporting documents and with your usual signature on the back thereof. The required colour photographs should be taken against a light coloured background; be clear and of good quality, and not framed or backed; they should be printed on normal photographic paper, and should show your full face and without sunglasses, hat or other head covering unless you wear this for cultural or religious reasons (but the face must not be covered).

The DEADLINE for the submission of applications online and also for the submission of all of the above required and mentioned documents to the School of Law is 5:00 p.m.  JUNE 30TH 2023. Owing to high demand we regret that we are unable to consider incomplete and/or late applications.

Note:  For your own protection, be sure you write your complete name exactly as it appears on all supporting documents and, before submitting, your serial number exactly as it appears on the e-voucher on all of the aforementioned documents. On every document, the name of the programme for which an application is being made should be written. Documents must be written in English. Accredited English translations that have been approved by Ghana’s National Accreditation Board should be included with any documents that are not in English.Supporting Documents and/or Materials must be received by the appropriate School of Law personnel by the end of the working day, 5:00 PM or 17:00 GMT, on the application submission deadline, which isFRIDAY, JUNE 30TH 2023.


Qualified short-listed applicants will be expected to take a selection examination which will attract a non-refundable examination fee of Five Hundred Ghana Cedis (GH¢ 500 .00) for both Ghanaian and International Applicants.
